It must've been “Let’s Make Steelers Fans Riot” Day for Kurt Benkert on Wednesday—as the former Packers QB turned analyst painted a wild trade hypothetical involving Dak Prescott and T.J. Watt.
Benkert started a Steel City–sized mob when he suggested that the Pittsburgh Steelers should trade Watt and the 21st overall pick in exchange for Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys’ 12th overall pick.
It’s not the worst trade speculation in the world—considering Watt could be looking to surpass Browns DE Myles Garrett's already high $40 million per year—and the Black and Gold faithful clearly want nothing to do with polarizing four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers.
The former Packers QB supported this mock trade with two strong arguments: an urgency to compete in a competitive AFC North and NFC East for the Steelers and Cowboys respectively, and the appealing idea of Prescott throwing to both DK Metcalf and George Pickens.
TJ Watt for Dak Prescott & a first round pick swap — who says no?

Steelers get a QB and avoid the contract + get pick #12
Cowboys get Pick #21 + Watt & get to be see what Milton can do. They’d have the best D line in the NFL and would give them an actual chance in the NFC East.
