Smithsburg's Skyla Mastronardi headlines All-Washington County Girls Basketball

Here are The Herald-Mail's 2024-25 All-Washington County Girls Basketball selections:

Skyla Mastronardi, Smithsburg

Player of the Year

Mastronardi, a junior, led the Leopards to a 20-5 record, the Class 1A Region II championship and an appearance in the 1A state semifinals. She averaged a county-best 17.3 points per game, shooting 40% overall and 35% from 3-point range, to go with 8.0 rebounds, 3.8 steals and 3.0 assists.

All-Washington County First Team

Claire Bono, Smithsburg

Bono, a sophomore, was the county's third-leading scorer at 14.1 points per game and added 8.0 rebounds, 4.2 steals, 4.1 assists and 1.3 blocks for the Leopards.

Anna Chamberlin, North Hagerstown

Chamberlin, a junior, averaged 11.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 steals as the Hubs' most consistent player.

Aniyah Freeman, South Hagerstown

Freeman, a junior, averaged 12.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, a county-best 4.3 blocks and 2.5 steals per game for the Rebels.

Arisa Hardy, Williamsport

Hardy, a sophomore, was the Wildcats' leading scorer at 9.9 points per game as Williamsport finished 17-7 and played in the Central Maryland Conference small-school title game. She added 5.4 rebounds and 2.0 steals per contest.

Mylee Hartman, Boonsboro

Hartman, a freshman, played beyond her years by averaging 10.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals for the Warriors.

Kara Hoover, Clear Spring

Hoover, a sophomore, averaged 10.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.4 steals to lead a very young Blazers squad.

Erica Long, Grace Academy

Long, a junior, averaged 9.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.6 assists to lead the Knights, who finished 10-5.
