Day 1: Sunday July 20, Orange City to Milford
- Miles: 71.8.
- Feet of climb: 1,520.
- Themes: Tire Dip and Mile of Silence.
- Pass-through towns: Granville, Primghar, May City.
- Meeting town: Hartley.
Highlights: The first day of the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa will leave from Orange City on July 20. The 71.8-mile ride will end in Milford just south of West Lake Okoboji.
Orange City will be the starting point for RAGBRAI 52, with many riders camping there on the night of July 19 to ensure an early start the following morning.
The fo0urt also will take riders through Granville, Primghar, Hartley and May City on the way to Milford on the Iowa Great Lakes.
