Roma could send Cristante to Milan for Saelemaekers
Roma are trying to come up with a plan to secure the long-term future of Alexis Saelemaekers.
Roma and Milan had a verbal agreement last summer for the possible redemption of Alexis Saelemaekers for around ten million euros.
However, the excellent season of the Belgian, with 6 goals and 5 assists in 26 games, has changed the scenarios, making the operation more complex for the Giallorossi.
To date, Milan have raised the demands, setting the price at 20 million euros.
Furthermore, Rossoneri coach Sergio Conceicao would not rule out a return of Saelemaekers to Milan.
Despite the difficulties, Roma do not intend to give up on the player and is evaluating alternatives to keep him in the capital.
According to La Gazzetta della Sport, a possible solution could involve Bryan Cristante, a player appreciated by Milan.
The Giallorossi could include him as a partial technical counterpart, with a financial adjustment between 8 and 10 million euros, to close the deal.
