As noted in this morning’s Notre Dame football weekend recruiting recap, 2026 Texas wide receiver Kaydon Finley had a great time on his visit.
It looks like the trip moved the needle in his recruitment toward’s ND’s favor with On3’s Steve Wiltfong putting in a prediction that the Irish will eventually land the 6-foot, and 200-pound pass catcher. The position is an area of focus for Notre Dame in this cycle, as there is a clear need to add more talent to the roster at wide receiver.
If Wiltfong is correct, the Irish will be landing one of the top recruits in the country, as Finley is ranked as the No. 101 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Currently Notre Dame has one commit at the position in the class, Dylan Faison, Jordan’s younger brother. Adding Finley would be an absolute home run for the Irish.
