Real Madrid 3-2 Leganes: Mbappe, Bellingham inspire comeback to go level with leaders Barcelona

Real Madrid fought back to beat struggling Leganes 3-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday as Kylian Mbappe scored twice and Jude Bellingham added another to put them level on points with La Liga leaders Barcelona.

Mbappe put Real ahead from the penalty spot in the first half as Carlo Ancelotti left Vinicius Junior, Federico Valvedre and Rodrygo on the bench after their long trips during the international break.

But soon Real were behind as Leganes scored twice before the break through Garcia and Raba to stun the Spanish giants.

Mbappe, Bellingham star in comeback win

England star Jude Bellingham scored early in the second half to make it 2-2 and Mbappe curled home a stunning free kick to seal the win, with the French superstar scoring his 22nd La Liga goal of the season and his 33rd in all competitions.

Real are now level on points with leaders Barcelona on 63 but have played a game more than Barca, who they meet in May for what already looks like being a decisive El Clasico.
