Raiders rebuild roster in new mock draft update

New Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll is hoping he can turn the fortunes of the Raiders around sooner rather than later. Carroll brought in quarterback Geno Smith to help bridge the gap and make Las Vegas competitive. We took this in mind with our latest seven-round mock update for the 2025 NFL draft.

First round - RB Ashton Jeanty

Second round - S Xavier Watts - Notre Dame

Third round - DT Omar Norman-Lott - Tennessee

Fourth round - WR Isaiah Bond - Texas

Fourth round - QB Dillon Gabriel - Oregon

Sixth round - OT Logan Brown - Kansas

Sixth round - EDGE Fadil Diggs - Syracuse

Sixth round - CB Tommi Hill - Nebraska

Seventh round - WR Efton Chism III - Eastern Washington

This mock draft passes on a quarterback in the first round instead going for feature back Ashton Jeanty. Jeanty has a chance to put up huge numbers and give the Raiders the type of weapon who balances out the offense. Seapking of offense, the fourth round yields speedy wide receiver Isaiah Bond and hyper-athletic quarterback Dillon Gabriel.

On defense, the addition of defensive tackle Omar Norman-Lott gives Christian wilkins a fellow playmaker on the inside. But the addition of safety Xavier Watts might be the value pick of the draft with his ability to make plays in the passing game.
