North DeSoto baseball coach Bo Odom hits career wins milestone with latest victory

Longtime North DeSoto baseball coach Bo Odom reached a career milestone Thursday night with his team’s 18-2 victory over Minden in Minden.

It was career win No. 500 for the veteran, who also serves as an assistant football coach at the Stonewall school.

Odom reached No. 400 in February 2022 and has continued piling up the wins in his 28-year career. His current team is 17-9 and rated No. 3 in the LHSAA Non-Select Division II Power Ratings.

He was recognized in a brief ceremony after the District 1-4A win over the Crimson Tide.
