NHL Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Defenseman Pickups April 6 - Pulock and Fabbro Both On A Little Bit of Offensive Rolls

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can be selected in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Ryan Pulock, NYI vs. WSH (5% rostered)
Pulock's offense has improved recently -- he has a goal and four assists over his last seven outings. His 22 points in 68 contests doesn't stand out but he he stuffs the stat sheet in other categories. Pulock has blocked 149 shots, dished out 96 hits while skating 21:13 an appearance. His uptick on offense makes him more appealing in standard formats while adding to his value in broader leagues.

Dante Fabbro, CLM @ OTT (5% rostered)
Like Pulock, Fabbro is not known for his offensive production, but he has also picked it up lately.  He has notched a pair of goals and five assists his last four games, helping him sit just one point shy of his career-high total set in 2021-22 as a member of the Predators. Fabbro has settled in nicely as a member of the Blue Jackets, posting a plus-21 rating along with 118 blocked shots and 61 hits in 54 contests in Columbus. He has benefitted from seeing a major spike in ice time, as he is seeing 21:49 of ice time a contest since being claimed off waivers.

Owen Power, BUF vs. BOS (28% rostered)
Power continues to add to his new career-high in points. He is up to seven goals and 32 assists in 74 contests this season. Power has added 106 blocked shots while skating 21:29 a contest, the latter almost 90 seconds down from last season. The one negative is his minus-15 rating, which is mildly surprisingly since he was a plus-skater his first two-plus seasons in the NHL. Barring a complete collapse, Power should top the 40-point barrier.
