Just days after bringing in veteran quarterback Jameis Winston, the New York Giants agreed to terms with 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson, completely revamping a room that had featured only Tommy DeVito.
The additions of Wilson and Winston eliminate the Giants from the Aaron Rodgers sweepstakes but don't necessarily take them out of the quarterback hunt in the 2025 NFL draft.
Wilson will play on a one-year deal worth up to $21 million, including $10.5 million guaranteed.
After news of Wilson's impending signing broke, X was swift to react, and the emotions were wide-ranging. Here's a taste:
