On April 5, the Boston Bruins made a notable roster move, recalling forward Fraser Minten from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Providence Bruins.
Naturally, there is excitement about Minten being called up, as he is one of the Bruins' top prospects. Now, he is set to make his Bruins debut against the Carolina Hurricanes on April 5, where he will look to leave a good first impression.
With Minten being recalled, the Bruins' forward lines had a new look during morning skate ahead of their contest against the Canes.
Elias Lindholm was moved up to the first-line center spot, with David Pastrnak and Morgan Geekie as his wingers. With this, Pavel Zacha has been dropped to the second-line left wing spot, with Casey Mittelstadt and Fabian Lysell as his new linemates.
Minten will be replacing Mittelstadt at the third-line center spot and will form a trio with Marat Khusnutdinov and Vinni Lettieri. Lastly, Cole Koepke has been dropped from the second line to the fourth line and will play with Jakub Lauko and John Beecher.
