Mike Evans and Marshon Lattimore will forever be linked together, for better or worse. They had several run-ins when Lattimore was with the Saints, as they, of course, played the Bucs and Mike Evans twice a year. In those matchups, we saw some physical plays, including some fights, that brought the best out of both players.
However, in 2025 and beyond, Bucs fans will have to be sure they find Marshon Lattimore on the field next time he plays the team because he is changing his number.
The former Ohio State cornerback is now changing his number back to what he wore in Columbus. ESPN's Adam Schefter shared the news over the weekend as the Washington Commanders' cornerback looks to bounce back from an injury-riddled 2024 season.
If you are reading this as a Bucs fan, you may be asking, "Why am I reading about Marshon Lattimore?" Let me answer that by reminding you that despite the season not starting, we, of course, stay on top of what goes on in the NFC South and other opponents.
Lattimore holds a special place in the hearts of Bucs fans and Mike Evans, and we wanted to acknowledge that.
