Friday's games: Columbus 3, St. Paul 2; Columbus 11, St. Paul 1
Replay: The Clippers swept a doubleheader vs. the Saints. In the first game, Columbus scored three times in the bottom of the seventh inning for the win. Will Brennan walked with one out and moved o third on a double by Juan Brito. Angel Martinez then singled, scoring Brennan and Brito. Will Wilson doubled home Martinez for the win. Martinez had three hits in the game. The Saints scored twice in the first inning but were shut out the rest of the way by Doug Nikhazy, Andrew Walters and Bradley Hanner (2-0). ... In the second game, which was shortened to five innings by rain, Wilson homered and and Christian Cairo went 4 for 4 with four RBIs. Columbus starter Kolby Allard allowed one run on three hits in four innings and was followed by shutout relief by Jack Leftwich and Tanner Burns.
