Napoli have yet to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia long-term after the Georgian left the Serie A club during the winter transfer window. Nonetheless, the Italian side have reportedly been keen on Alejandro Garnacho as his replacement.
Recently, Chris Wheeler from The Daily Mail reported that Manchester United are keeping an eye on Victor Osimhen, with a possible transfer potentially involving a swap deal for Garnacho.
Last month, journalist Laurie Whitwell pointed out that Manchester United haven’t ruled out the possibility of including Garnacho in their efforts to sign Osimhen.
On the Inside United podcast, Whitwell mentioned that Manchester United are eager to bring Osimhen to Old Trafford. Napoli had shown interest in Garnacho before, so a swap deal could be a potential option.
What’s the latest on Napoli securing Alejandro Garnacho
If Napoli does see Garnacho as Kvaratskhelia’s replacement, they have received good news. Il Mattino reports that Manchester United have accepted their will not be able to sell Garnacho for £60 million and have dropped their asking price to £40 million. He is still wanted by Napoli and Chelsea.

It will be interesting to see if Napoli can work out a swap deal or if they’ll need to use the money they got from Kvaratskhelia to secure the Argentine.
