Killingly’s Durand voted preseason softball player of the year 

Killingly junior Jayden Durand has been voted The Bulletin’s Preseason Softball Player of the Year.

Durand is a three-year starter at catcher for Killingly.

There were 39,827 votes cast for The Bulletin’s preseason online poll.

Also receiving votes were Samantha Baker (Killingly), Ava Boenig (NFA), Grace Deslauriers (Killingly), Sadie Dodge (Plainfield), Hailey Haggett (Ellis Tech), Autumn Hanks (Norwich Tech), Roselyn Lopez, (Ellis Tech), Sierra Madden (Plainfield), Khaiyanna Maldonado (Norwich Tech), Aubrey Martin (NFA), Abby Matheson (Griswold), Sophie Miner (NFA), and Kierra Neilson (Griswold).
