Do people not respect law and order anymore?
Earlier in 2024, President Donald Trump signed an executive order that was intended to nix biological males (transgenders) out of female sports, and this would eventually lead to the NCAA updating their policy on trans athletes to line up with Trump‘s.
Well, it looks like we’re still having problems, as NCAA Division III school Ithaca College has featured on their women’s rowing team a biological male. (RELATED: Poll Shows Residents In Maine Want Transgender Athletes Out Of Female Sports)
Formerly with the name of Tyler Gattone, Juniper Gattone was in competition recently representing Ithaca in the Cayuga Duals. Losing against Hamilton & William Smith, Gattone participated in the 3V race.
Commenting on the matter, Ithaca College had this to say to Fox News Digital.
“It is the intent of Ithaca College to comply with all NCAA rules. Under those rules, the student-athlete in question has the ability to be on the roster and participate in practices and open-gender competition. This past weekend, there was a misunderstanding by the coaching staff about what constituted an official NCAA event, because there is no third varsity rowing event at NCAA championships,” reads the statement.
A simple misunderstanding or outright defiance? … I’m thinking the latter, you can’t trust anybody out here.
