Iowa basketball is among a lengthy list of schools that are in the mix for former Kansas State guard Brendan Hausen.
Hausen averaged 10.9 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while shooting 39.0% from the field and 38.8% from 3-point range. The 6-foot-4 guard began his career at Villanova before spending last season in Manhattan, Kan., where he played in and started 33 games.
Hausen scored in double figures in 20 of the Wildcats' games and knocked down at least a pair of 3-pointers in 25 of K-State's contests.
A native of Amarillo, Texas, Hausen is ranked as a four-star transfer, as the No. 26 shooting guard and as the 107th-ranked transfer.
In addition to Iowa, On3's Joe Tipton reports that Hausen is also hearing from schools such as Gonzaga, Virginia, Kansas, Illinois, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas, Maryland and Minnesota.
