Nebraska football hosted several visitors over the weekend, including the top tight end prospect in the class of 2027, Ahmad Hudson. Hudson touched down in Lincoln on Saturday as the Huskers continue to build for the future.
Hudson measures in at 6 foot-7 220 pounds, and is the seventh overall prospect in the 2027 class per Rivals rankings. He has offers from Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida, Texas, and USC, among others. The pass-catcher recorded 13 catches for 153 yards and a touchdown last season in three games, according to statistics from Maxpreps.com.
Currently, the 2027 Nebraska football recruiting class has no commitments. However, the program has been busy extending offers and hosting visitors. They have a busy visitor list lined up for the summer, and it will be interesting to see if they can make headway there.
On Saturday, they were focused on the tight end position. They will undoubtedly have competition for Hudson. With that being said, he would give them an instant-impact playmaker.
