How many points did Zach Edey score tonight? Grizzlies vs Nuggets box score

Memphis Grizzlies rookie Zach Edey played against star NBA center Nikola Jokic for the first time in his career on Friday night at Ball Arena.

While both players were technically positioned as centers, they didn't match up often. Memphis used Santi Aldama and Jaren Jackson Jr. most of the night against Jokic while Edey guarded Aaron Gordon.

Those decisions didn't benefit the Grizzlies. Gordon led the Nuggets with 33 points and Jokic recorded a triple-double. As a result, Memphis lost 117-109 in a crucial game against the Nuggets.

Edey continued his dominance on the glass. He has now recorded at least nine rebounds in seven of his last eight games.

Here is how Edey fared on Friday night.
