High School Roundup: Highlights from Monday's action and Tuesday's schedule

La Salle's Lachlan Got (27) advances against a Moses Brown defender in last year's boys lacrosse championship match. On Monday night, he scored four goals and helped the Rams to a 21-6 win over North Kingstown.

BOYS LACROSSE

Division I

 La Salle 21, North Kingstown 6

Lachlan Got and Quincy Marino each scored 4 goals, Nick Loo netted 3 and Quinn Peterson added 2 goals and 3 assists as the Rams won convincingly. Marino also recorded 4 assists and John Rodehorst chipped in with a pair of goals. Colin Petrella had 2 goals for the Skippers.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Division II

Cumberland 11, Middletown 7

Emily Bourke scored 3 goals and assisted on 2 others and she also won 5 draws, and Lucy Biggs added 3 goals and an assist and won 3 draws, sparking the Clippers to the win. Ruby Walsh made 6 saves for the victory. For the Islanders, Sadie Hinchey had 4 goals and Lamaya Gonsalves stopped 9 shots in net.

Nonleague

Stonington (Conn.) 11, Westerly 9

The Bears were led by Emma Logel's 6 goals, Shay Burnside added 3 goals, and Kinsley Mansfield and Gianna Terranova each recorded one in this interstate contest. For the Bulldogs, Gianna Falcone netted a team-high 5 goals, with single goals coming from Nora Zerbarini (2 assists), Allyson Faubert, Casey Macera, Erica Nyberg and Simone Hackett.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Division I

Hendricken 3, Barrington 0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-20)

South Kingstown 3, Toll Gate 0

Three kills and 31 assists by Ben Wright, 12 kills and 4 aces by Luke Brown and 10 kills and 4 aces by Tom Richardson propelled the Rebels to a 25-16, 25-10, 25-20 victory over the Titans.

Johnston 3, Central 1 (25-19, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23)

Division II

Pawtucket 3, Pilgrim  0

Hayson Ortiz led the way for the Shea/Tolman co-op with 6 kills, 4 digs and 2 blocks, Bryan Leon recorded 4 kills, 4 digs and 3 aces and Jim Bornelus had 4 kills and an ace in the 25-12, 25-12, 25-11 win. The Patriots were led by Logan McDermott's 8 assists and 2 aces in the loss.
