—Brandon Week (five innings pitched) and Talan Bond (two innings) combined for a two-hitter in Pine Island's 9-0 win over St. Croix Prep. Week struck out 11 and walked three. Luke Sems hit a home run and went 2-for-2 with five RBIs. Mason Jasperson went 3-for-3 and Nick Thein 2-for-3.
BIG NINE CONFERENCE
—Mayo stayed unbeaten, shutting out Mankato West 5-0 in Big Nine Conference action. Amber Condon tossed a four-hitter for the 5-0 Spartans (4-0 Big Nine). She struck out eight and walked just three. Amelia Nordland led the Mayo offense, going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
NON-CONFERENCE
—Avery Augedahl pitched 6 2/3 innings and allowed just two hits while striking out 14 in Caledonia's 1-0 win over Stewartville. Adrienne Lange homered for the Warriors.
