Former NFL player Malcom Mitchell reads to JCPS students, emphasis importance of reading
Former NFL player Malcom Mitchell reads his book, "The Magician’s Hat," to the students at Martin Luther King Elementary on Monday in Louisville.
Mitchell, who played for the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots, is now a literacy advocate, author, and motivational speaker who is focused on the power of reading and literacy, especially in underserved communities. At Martin Luther King Elementary, he talked with students about the importance of reading and had a part in a magic show with Magician John Logan.
