Boys and girls lacrosse begin their district tournaments this coming week in both Class 1A and 2A. All four district tournament's top seeds are area teams from either Escambia or Santa Rosa County.

The boys tournament begins on Wednesday with the quarterfinals. Semifinals will be on Friday followed by the championship game on April 15, at least in Class 2A. Class 1A's quarterfinals are Thursday, followed by the semifinals on Saturday and the championship on April 16.

Gulf Breeze is the top seed in Class 2A, and will host as long as it keeps winning. For Class 1A, Pensacola Catholic holds the top spot, and will also keep hosting if it keeps winning.

For the girls tournament, in Class 2A, the quarterfinals are on Thursday, followed by the semifinals on April 14 and the championship on April 16. Class 1A starts on Tuesday with the quarterfinals, with the semifinals on Friday followed by the championship on April 15.

Similar to the boys tournaments, Gulf Breeze (2A) and Pensacola Catholic (1A) are both the top seeds of their respective district tournaments.
