Former Roma striker Mirko Vucinic spoke ahead of tonight’s match between Lecce and Roma.
In an interview with Radio Manà Manà Sport, Vucinic reflected on Claudio Ranieri’s impact on the team.
“Ranieri has accustomed us to miracles, let’s hope he can perform another one,” he said.
“In 2009/10 we were not in a good place when he came. At the time we were really bad, he got into our heads making us all feel important.”
“Dovbyk? Serie A is much more difficult. Rome is not an easy place, let’s not forget that Roma fans are used to excellent strikers, starting with Batistuta. But I also struggled in the first year,” he added.
