The final Hammer has fallen on the first TGL season, and golf fans are already asking: What's next?

The indoor golf league backed by billionaires, celebrities, pro team owners and athletes was a sensation over the past three months in Palm Beach County. Though neither co-founder played for the championship (or even made the playoffs), Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy did enough to all but guarantee a second year.

Ratings for the fledgling league were mostly good, with an average of 650,000 people tuning into ESPN's primetime matches. There are bumps to work out, but social media lighting up every Monday and Tuesday night with clips of wild shots and wilder dance moves show promise for its future.

Here's what to know about TGL and what's coming in 2026:

What time is TGL match today?

Sad news, golf fans: There isn't one. The TGL's 2025 season concluded March 25 with Atlanta Drive GC winning the finals in two matches against New York Golf Club. Billy Horschel's clutch putt helped pave the way for the championship, which he celebrated with teammates Patrick Cantlay and Justin Thomas.

When does the next TGL season begin?

We don't know yet. The league announced its first matches for the 2025 season — spread out over three Tuesdays starting Jan. 7 — on March 25, 2024. It then released its full 2025 schedule Oct. 21. League co-founder Mike McCarley said work on the 2026 schedule is already underway between TGL and ESPN.
