Oh, Tiger. You think you're playing a funny prank on us all, but it's not funny! We want you back on the course as soon as possible.
But, no. Tiger Woods decided to use April 1 -- yes, yes April Fools' Day -- to say this to the world: "I can’t believe I am saying this, but a few weeks after rupturing my left Achilles, the sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber plus the explosive lifts my doctors and trainers have me ready to play the Masters next week! Can’t wait! See y’all on the course."
A reminder: Woods (who's dating Vanessa Trump) is recovering from a torn Achilles, an injury that can take a LONG time to heal from. So there's no way we're going to see him tee it up at Augusta next week. SIGH.
See, it would have been more of a prank to announce he was retiring on April 1. We wouldn't know WHAT was true?

But here we are, being wistful. Get better soon, Tiger.
