Ex-Broncos wide receiver re-signs 1-year deal with Lions
Tim Patrick's tenure in Detroit will continue.
The Lions have re-signed veteran wide receiver Tim Patrick on a one-year deal. Set to turn 32 years old this fall, Patrick is now entering his eighth season in the NFL.
The Broncos cut Patrick last summer after failing to finalize a trade and he landed in Detroit. Patrick ended up dressing for 16 games last season, hauling in 33 receptions for 394 yards and three touchdowns on 44 targets (641 snaps).
Patrick re-joins a Lions wide receiver room that includes Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Kalif Raymond (another former Denver player).

The Broncos, meanwhile, moved on last year with Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims and Devaughn Vele ending up as the team's top three wide receivers in 2024. Denver also used a fourth-round pick on Troy Franklin last spring and after a quiet rookie season, Franklin will aim to make a leap in Year 2.
