Ex-Falcons wide receiver visiting with Minnesota Vikings
The Atlanta Falcons have re-signed a handful of role players through the first week of NFL free agency, but a few key names remain unsigned, including Matthew Judon, Dee Alford and Justin Simmons. One free agent that fans may have forgotten about is wide receiver Rondale Moore.
The Falcons acquired Moore in a trade that sent quarterback Desmond Ridder to the Arizona Cardinals last offseason. The 24-year-old suffered a knee injury in August that kept him out for the entire 2024 season. Moore, a former second-round draft pick, has yet to find a home in NFL free agency.
According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Minnesota Vikings are hosting the former Falcons wide receiver on a free-agent visit this Friday.

Moore's rookie season was his most productive, recording 54 catches for 435 receiving yards and one touchdown. The former Purdue wide receiver has appeared in 39 career NFL games since entering the league in 2021, catching 135 passes for 1,201 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
If Moore doesn't land a contract with the Vikings, the Falcons could offer him a one-year deal to prove himself in 2025. Atlanta has already re-signed Pro Bowl wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge to a two-year, $6 million contract. Ray-Ray McCloud established himself as the team's primary slot receiver last season, but it wouldn't hurt to bring back Moore for more depth.
