Bears to sign former Commanders WR Olamide Zaccheaus to 1-year deal
The Chicago Bears have a new weapon for Caleb Williams to work with this season. According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, the Bears have signed wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus to a one-year deal. Zaccheaus spent the 2024 season with the Washington Commanders, where he totaled 45 receptions for 506 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Falcons. He carved out a role for himself and became a consistent pass catcher through the 2022 season, where he had a career-high 533 receiving yards. Zaccheaus spent the 2023 season with the Philadelphia Eagles as a role player before playing a key role in Washington for rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
At 5-foot-8, Zaccheaus may seem undersized, but he's a jack-of-all-trades receiver who can line up in the slot or on the outside. 284 of his 506 yards came after the catch, showing he has big-play ability. He did, however, struggle with drops last season. At this point in time, Zaccheaus likely fits in as the WR3 behind DJ Moore and Rome Odunze.
