Bears sign Olamide Zaccheaus: NFL world reacts

The Chicago Bears have been busy during free agency filling some key holes, most notably in the trenches through trades and signings. After addressing the offensive and defensive lines, the Bears made a move to shore up their receiving corp with the addition of Olamide Zaccheaus.

Zaccheaus had a career-high 45 catches for 506 yards and three touchdowns last season with Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders. Now, he'll join a Bears receiving room that includes DJ Moore and Rome Odunze, where he'll slot in as the WR3 for quarterback Caleb Williams.

While receiver wasn't the biggest need on the roster, there was a lack of depth behind Moore and Odunze with Keenan Allen now testing the free-agent market. Zaccheaus is a versatile weapon for Williams, and he has big playmaking ability with 284 of his 506 yards coming after the catch in 2024.
