Matteo Darmian says that for Inter Milan “the aim is always to win as much as possible.”
The 35-year-old gave his thoughts in the matchday programme for this evening’s Serie A showdown with Cagliari.
Inter Milan are now very much in the run-in for the season.
The Nerazzurri take on Cagliari this evening in Serie A. It’s a match where they will feel that three points are necessary, with Napoli just behind them in the league table.

Meanwhile, Darmian looked back on his goal against Hellas Verona in the spring of 2021. It was a decisive goal in that season’s title race.
The Italian international called it “a goal that meant a lot.”
“It was a match that was at 0-0. It was against a solid Verona team.”
Darmian recalled, “it was a good move, and a win that gave us three huge point.”
Then, Darmian gave his thoughts on last season’s Serie A title for the second star. “It’s certainly a trophy that has a special flavour,” said the veteran defender.
