Spring is in the air, the azaleas are in bloom and the best golfers in the world are on their way to Augusta, Georgia. That can only mean one thing: the Masters is right around the corner.

The 89th Masters Tournament is set to begin on Thursday at the hallowed grounds of Augusta National Golf Club with Scottie Scheffler set to defend the title he won last year by four shots over Ludvig Åberg.

Unfortunately for golf fans, five-time champion Tiger Woods will not be playing in this year's event as he recovers from surgery last month to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon.

When is 2025 Masters Tournament?

The Masters Tournament is first major of the season in men's golf. It's the only major championship to take place at the same location every year. The activities begin with the annual Par 3 Tournament on Wednesday, April 9.

How to watch 2025 Masters

Live coverage of this year's Masters Tournament will be split by ESPN and CBS, with the first and second rounds broadcast on ESPN and the final two rounds on CBS.
