Fans of the Boston Celtics have taken note of the recent strides made by rookie shooting guard Baylor Scheierman. And it is not just fans of the Celtics who have been impressed by the growth of the first-year Boston wing, either -- his own teammates on the Celtics' roster cannot help but notice how much better Scheierman has been playing with the parent team, fellow guard Derrick White among them.
The Creighton alum spent most of the 2024-25 NBA regular season shuttling back and forth between Portland and Boston, getting most of his playing time with the Maine Celtics in between rare minutes at the NBA level. Now, he has carved out a role in the deep rotation, and White had plenty to say about his newfound swagger.
The folks behind the "CLNS Media Boston Sports Network" YouTube channel put together a clip of the Colorado native sharing his enthusiasm for Scheierman's development. Check it out below!
