Commanders WR Noah Brown did not want to be anywhere else
Noah Brown was cleared two weeks ago and is anxious to return with the Commanders.
Brown, after being released by the Texans, was signed by the Commanders in time for the 2024 season. After good success wearing the Burgundy and Gold and catching the 'Hail Mary' heave from Jayden Daniels to defeat the Chicago Bears at Landover, Brown unfortunately suffered a season-ending kidney injury.
The former Ohio State Buckeye receiver joined former college teammate receiver Terry McLaurin in Washington and had a fine 2024, collecting 35 receptions for 453 yards and, yes, that sole miraculous 'Hail Mary' touchdown on the game's final play to defeat the Chicago Bears at Northwest Stadium in Landover.

Meeting with the media, Brown declared Tuesday, "I feel like I’m built for this, and I’ll come back stronger.” Brown suffered his season-ending kidney injury in the Commanders' Week 12 game against the Dallas Cowboys, where Washington lost 34-26, giving up not one but two kickoff returns for touchdowns.
Before the more serious kidney injury that ended Brown's season, he had also missed some playing time, suffering a groin injury. Brown's stock most likely suffered as a result of his two injuries last season. Commanders GM Adam Peters then consequently re-signed Brown to another one-year deal.
On the other side of the coin, Dyami Brown's stock launched due to his playoff performances, and Peters apparently let Dyami sign with the Jaguars for much more money than Peters was willing to compensate him in Washington.
