Chelsea looking at two winger options who are faster and more direct than Jadon Sancho
Chelsea are now reportedly looking at two other winger options who are faster and more direct than Jadon Sancho is.
The Blues are expected to be busy now this summer, and we have had plenty of updates floating around this week already.
EXCLUSIVE! Enzo Maresca has decided on the striker he wants to sign at Chelsea!!
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has put out his latest YouTube video at the weekend with a bunch of info in that. The main takeaway was Romano saying Chelsea are going to be in the market for a new striker, a centre back, and a winger in the summer.
And there has also been a lot of noise regarding Jadon Sancho and whether Chelsea will actually be signing him from Manchester United permanently in the summer or not. The Athletic are reporting that there is a £5m break clause fee that Chelsea can pay to send him back and terminate the loan obligation to buy.
And it is the situation with Sancho that we are focusing on again in this latest report that has come out.
Will Chelsea sign him or will they send him back to United?
Two other options being looked at
The Daily Mirror are reporting that United winger Alejandro Garnacho and Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens were considered by Chelsea in the January transfer window and both are still on the radar, as first reported by BBC Sport. In many ways they are more attractive propositions than Sancho, claims the report.
Garnacho and Gittens are both 20 years old and are faster and more direct than Sancho, they claim.
However, in the original report from The BBC it also states that the word out of Chelsea is that it is still their intention to keep Sancho. That is also what United think.
