Charlton sign keeper Bouzanis until end of season
Charlton Athletic have signed veteran goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
The much-travelled 34-year-old joins the League One outfit after parting company with Reading last month.
It will add another chapter to a career that started as a youth team player at Liverpool in 2009 before a move to Accrington Stanley, followed by stints in Greece, Australia and the Netherlands.
"Dean's been training with us now for the last month following the injury to Ashley [Maynard-Brewer]," Addicks boss Nathan Jones told the club website.
"With the precarious nature of the emergency loan market, we felt it was better to sign someone who we've had in the environment and Dean's done very well since coming here.
"He's got real good experience, he's fitted in with the group really well and he provides real good competition for what is already a good goalkeeping department."
