Bucs host their local prospect day ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft

Every NFL team hosts a local pro day where they are able to get their eyes on a bunch of local talent from schools in the surrounding area. For the Bucs that means they can bring in Florida, Florida State, USF, and other smaller schools as well. Of course, players have to be invited, but these visits don't count against the Bucs top 30 visits before the draft.

Jason Licht spoke to the media on Thursday and talked about the day they had with the team.

"I can't remember how many we had. It was good. I love that day. We had a good overall group. I don't typically want to talk about any individuals but we had a good group. It was competitive. I can foresee us having a few of those guys on our team after the draft."

One of the players that was present, as shared by Greg Auman of Fox Sports, was Florida's Desmond Watson. The massive defensive tackle for the Gators is a space-eater of a defensive tackle, but that also is what holds him back. He will be drafted or sign with someone coming out of the draft in two weeks, just a matter of who.
