Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has had numerous visits with top prospects ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft and Colorado's Shedeur Sanders is next on the list.
The son of Deion Sanders was discussed, along with current Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson as the NFL Owners Meeting is underway this week. Stefanski’s Monday press conference detailed how Sanders has managed to impress Cleveland in the pre-draft process:
“He’s a very talented young man, but off the field is where I’m most impressed,” said Stefanski of Sanders. “You want to talk to a player about plays, and I think he sees the game really well.”
Sanders finished his collegiate career holding the all-time NCAA record for completion percentage by a quarterback at 70.1%. He also amassed an impressive 4,134 yards with 37 passing touchdowns and 10 interceptions. While many fans may disagree with this pick, his potential under Kevin Stefanski could be a difference-maker for Cleveland.
The Browns are also predicted to have the option of selecting Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter or Sanders’ teammate, Heisman winner Travis Hunter. We’ll see who the Browns decide to select in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft on April 24.
