Bears sign Case Keenum: NFL world reacts

The Chicago Bears are adding a new face to the quarterback room with the signing of veteran journeyman Case Keenum to a one-year deal worth up to $3 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Keenum has served as a journeyman quarterback throughout his career, which includes stops with the Houston Texans (2023-24, 2014, 2012-13), Buffalo Bills (2022), Cleveland Browns (2020-21), Washington Redskins (2019), Denver Broncos (2018), Minnesota Vikings (2017) and Los Angeles Rams (2015-16, 2014).

Keenum served as a mentor for Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud during his first two NFL seasons, and he'll now be another voice for Bears second-year quarterback Caleb Williams, who will also benefit from new head coach Ben Johnson.

There's been plenty of reaction to Chicago signing Keenum to a one-year deal, where Bears fans are excited about a veteran presence joining the QB room while Vikings fans are wondering why their team wasn't able to bring him back to Minnesota.
