Bears load up on offense in new mock draft update

Last year, the Chicago Bears went all-in to make quarterback Caleb Williams the face of the franchise and started the process of building around him. The season Ben Johnson takes over as the Bears head coach and wants to bring some of that Detroit Lions mentality to the team. In our latest mock draft update, we go heavy on offense to let Williams make a leap in his second season.

First round - OT Armand Membou - Missouri

With the availability of Braxton Jones in question, we take Membou here to be sure the offensive line is in order.

Second round - EDGE Landon Jackson - Arkansas

We like the addition of Dayo Odeyingbo but Jackson gives the Bears a much better option as a pass rusher and creates a very well-rounded rotation at end.

Second round - RB Quinshon Judkins - Ohio State

Johnson's offense can never have enough good running backs so we add Judkins here to pair up with D'Andre Swift.

Third round - WR Savion Williams - TCU

The best thing that can happen for Rome Oduzne is to pair him up with a playmaker with speed and we love Savion's athleticism and overwhelming size.

Fifth round - LB Danny Stutsman - Oklahoma

The Bears have solid starters on the inside but Stutsman adds physicality and a downhill run-stopping mentality with a high football IQ.

Seventh round - TE Oronde Gadsen II - Syracuse

We don't see any way Gadsen lasts this long in the draft but we will take him here as a huge target in the passing game.

Seventh round - DT Ty Robinson - Nebraska

Robinson is a nice rotational interior defender who is huge but plays with great pad level and leverage.
