The Arizona State baseball team is in the Top 25 for the first time this season.
After an impressive road sweep of Utah, the Sun Devils are ranked No. 24 in the nation in the D1baseball.com Top 25 poll, joining No. 21 Coastal Carolina and No. 22 Kansas State as newcomers to the poll this week.
Wake Forest, Stanford and Arizona dropped out of the ranking.
Arizona State improved to 19-9 overall and 7-2 in Big 12 play with its three-game sweep of Utah, becoming the first Big 12 school to sweep a road conference series this season.
Willie Bloomquist's team is not ranked in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll but comes in at No. 3 in the others receiving votes category.
ASU baseball is second in the Big 12, behind Kansas State, which has gone 8-1 in conference games.
The Sun Devils face Cal State Fullerton at home on Tuesday before hosting a three-game series against Big 12 rival Arizona Friday through Sunday at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
