The NFL draft is weeks away and the Arizona Cardinals are preparing for the 2025 NFL draft and part of that process is bringing in up to 30 player prospects for official visits at the team facility, meeting extensively with them and sometimes even eating dinner. The Cardinals have held some such visits already.
According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, appearing on PHNX Cardinals podcast, said that Georgia linebacker/edge rusher Jalon Walker had a top-30 visit with the Cardinals already.
Walker is one of the draft's top defensive prospects. He was the standout defender for Georgia last season. He split time between playing the edge and playing off the ball as a linebacker. In 2024, he had 60 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, two pass breakups and two fumble recoveries.
He is 6-foot-1 and 243 pounds and athletic. He could end up a top-10 pick in the draft this month but might also be available for the Cardinals.
It is clear he is one player they are seriously considering.
