Arizona Cardinals free agent WR Zach Pascal visiting New York Giants
One of the Arizona Cardinals' free agents has a visit scheduled with another team. According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, receiver Zach Pascal is scheduled for a visit with the New York Giants on Monday.
Pascal, who played the last two seasons for the Cardinals, is not expected to be brought back.
Pascal has connections to the Giants' coaching staff under Brian Daboll. The Giants' receivers coach is Mike Groh, who was the receivers coach for the Indianapolis Colts from 2020-2021 when Pascal played for them.
Pascal did not do much as a receiver in Arizona. He did not catch a pass in 2024, nor was he even targeted. He had four catches for 19 yards in 2023. He played almost exclusively on special teams, logging a career-high 278 special teams snaps while only getting 68 on offense. He had two special teams tackles.
We will see if that visit turns into a deal for him so that the 30-year-old can continue his NFL career.
