Andrija Jelavic commits to Kentucky basketball: What to know about 2025 European recruit

LEXINGTON — Kentucky basketball and coach Mark Pope have added some international flavor to their 2025-26 roster.

Andrija Jelavic, a Class of 2025 recruit who is one of the top European prospects in his age group, committed to UK on Saturday. Jelavic's agent, Misko Raznatovic of Beobasket, informed ESPN of the 6-foot-11 forward's pledge to the Wildcats.

Per ESPN, the 20-year-old Jelavic averaged 10.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 30 minutes per game the past two seasons playing for Mega Superbet, a Serbian team that competes in the Adriatic League.

He averaged nearly one 3-point make per outing, knocking down 52 triples in 53 games for Mega Superbet.

Jelavic is the third player in UK's 2025 recruiting class, joining guard Jasper Johnson and center Malachi Moreno. Point guard Acaden Lewis had been part of the class, but he decomitted and reopened his recruitment Thursday.
