Texas baseball score today vs Georgia: Live updates as Horns go for sweep

Texas baseball has already secured a statement series victory over No. 3 Georgia. On Sunday, the Longhorns will go for the sweep.

Coach Jim Schlossnagle's team rallied from a 4-0 deficit to defeat the Bulldogs 7-4 on Saturday thanks to clutch doubles by Jalin Flores and Will Gasparino as well as a two-run homer from Jaquae Stewart.

In securing victories on Friday and Saturday, Texas starters Jared Spencer and Luke Harrison combined to pitch 13⅓ innings. That allowed Schlossnagle to avoid using star swingman Ruger Riojas in relief and instead schedule him to start on Sunday. Riojas allowed just two hits and no runs over seven scoreless innings while collecting 10 strikeouts in a win over Mizzou last week.

He'll be opposed by Georgia righthander Leighton Finley. Finley gave up three runs in three innings in his most recent outing against Auburn.
