Albert Breer thinks one quarterback 'makes a lot of sense' for the Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings just can't stay out of the news when it comes to their quarterback situation. While Aaron Rodgers has found his way out of the news cycle for the team, for now, the team is seemingly turning their focus to another veteran quarterback.
Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated published an article on Monday where he talked about the new name the Vikings could focus on. Breer mentions former Dolphins and Titans starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill as a good fit for the Vikings.
"Ryan Tannehill makes a lot of sense as an insurance policy for the Vikings at quarterback. I also think that he’d be good for J.J. McCarthy."
Ryan Tannehill is very much on the back end of his career but he still has something to give a team. He wasn't with a team in 2024 but it seems he is looking to get back on a roster for the 2025 season. The Vikings would be a perfect fit for him, just as he fits them.
