Crypto.com Arena, formerly known as Staples Center, has always been one of those places in the Los Angeles area where one is almost guaranteed to see a celebrity. During every Los Angeles Lakers game, the famous, near-famous and wanna-be-famous flock to the arena and hope to be seen.
There is a group of celebrities who seem to be regulars at Lakers games. But for Friday's game against the Houston Rockets, the team had an unexpected famous guest who has been associated with the Tri-state Area throughout his career: Bruce Springsteen.
Springsteen was seen sitting courtside alongside Jimmy Iovine, a former record executive who worked on three of the albums "The Boss" released decades ago.

Springsteen has spent most of his life in his native New Jersey, where he is an absolute legend. But he's also a legend everywhere, especially in a place such as the Southland that has many transplants from the New York-New Jersey area.
At one point in the game, the 75-year-old was spry enough to quickly catch a loose ball that came his way.

The Lakers won the game against the Rockets by a score of 140-109. They will be hoping for some glory days during the upcoming NBA playoffs, and having won seven of their last 10 games, perhaps they're born to run through their competition at this point.
