The Los Angeles Lakers had their way with a very short-handed Houston Rockets team on Friday as they won by a final score of 140-109. They established a double-digit lead early in the second quarter, and from that point on, they didn't let up.
Luka Doncic led the way by continuing his excellent play of late. He shot 13-of-19 from the field and 5-of-9 from 3-point range to score 39 points, and he also chipped in eight rebounds and seven assists.
This made him the second Lakers player to post at least 35 points, five rebounds, five assists and five 3-point baskets in back-to-back games. The first to do so was the late great Kobe Bryant during the 2006-07 season.
Luka Dončić tallied 35+ PTS, 5+ REB, 5+ AST, & 5+ 3PM in back-to-back games!
