The Buffalo Bills won't have many starting position battles in 2025. Bring on puntapalooza.
Buffalo agreed to terms with former Cincinnati Bengals punter Brad Robbins, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Robbins adds competition for punter Jake Camarda in Buffalo. Neither finished the 2024 season on an NFL roster but both have starting experience in the NFL.
Robbins, 26, was a sixth-round pick by the Bengals in the 2023 draft and won the starting job. He punted 76 times as a rookie with a 44.3 yards per punt average, which ranked 31st out of 33 qualifying punters. He was next to last with 26.3% of his punts downed inside the opponent's 20-yard line. Tennessee's Ryan Stonehouse led the NFL at more than double the rate (52.8%).
Robbins suffered a quadriceps injury in the 2024 preseason and was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return. He missed the first four games and rookie Ryan Rehkow was excellent in his stead. Robbins was waived by the Bengals on Oct. 1.

The Bills signed Camarda, a fourth-round selection by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022, to a reserve/futures contract in January.
Camarda, 25, was fifth in the NFL in yards per punt in 2022 and 2023 and was the starting punter to open the 2024 season before losing the job. He was waived by Tampa Bay on Oct. 22.
Robbins and Camarda account for two of the eight punters drafted in the league since 2022. The other six - Tory Taylor, Bryce Baringer, Ethan Evans, Jordan Stout, Matt Araiza and Trenton Gill - were starting punters in 2024.
Buffalo has shaken up its special teams unit. The Bills fired special teams coordinator Matthew Smiley in February and two days later hired Chris Tabor. Punter
