The Masters 2025 is just a week away, and while the field is mostly set, there's some business to take care of for a few players at the Texas Open this week.
As you may know, there are many ways to qualify for The Masters: if you win it, if you're a PGA, British Open or U.S. Open champion, amateur champ and so many more.
And while the top 50 in the world rankings after the Houston Open locked in a bunch of names, there's still an opening: if a player hasn't qualified already, a win in San Antonio would get him in.
So here are some guys hoping for a victory and a last-minute ticket to Augusta:
Rickie Fowler
He's outside looking in right now and not having the best of years. Unless he wins, he's out.
Ben Griffin
He missed getting into the field by thismuch:
Thank you everyone for the kind messages after yesterday鈥檚 round. Unfortunately the media was a bit misleading about a top 28 qualifying me for The Masters. I played my best and moved to 51 in the OWGR, fractionally missing. Off to week 13 in a row! Time to win in San Antonio 馃

Bud Cauley
What an incredible comeback story. But he's out unless he wins.
Gary Woodland
Another incredible comeback story, but he's unfortunately not going to make it unless he comes away with a win.
Si Woo Kim
Another notable name who needs to win it.
